Arianna Lawrence, Copy Editor
Arianna Lawrence (she/her) is a copy editor and writer for Arts & Entertainment. Arianna believes that journalism represents one of the most fundamental human experiences possible: engaging with our world. In her eyes, journalism promotes investigation, critique, and awareness, all of which are necessary for an ever-evolving society. To stay updated on current events, Arianna enjoys scrolling through New York Times and The Militant, and her favorite authors are Albert Camus, Bell Hooks, and Frantz Fanon. Outside of journalism, Arianna is also an executive of Tech's Black Student Union, a volunteer with the Clinton Hill-Fort Greene Mutual Aid, and a member of NYU's High School Law Institute. Through this promising experience, Arianna seeks to major in political science with the hope of becoming a public interest lawyer.
