Yael Ezry, Staff Writer
Yael Ezry (she/her) is a staff writer for Opinions. Yael believes firmly that journalism helps to deliver information accessibly to the public: all while promoting free press, intelligent conversations, and new engaging ideas. As her first year having real journalistic experience outside of middle school, Yael is excited to continue immersing herself in the field and starting new dialogues about Tech culture. When she’s not writing, Yael can be found diving into classical Russian and modern French philosophy, especially the works of Simone de Beauvoir, and feminist poetry, from Sylvia Plath to Anne Sexton. Yael can also be found growing her debate skills during her summers at Bella Abzug Debate and the Leadership Institute. Fun fact about Yael: she landed on the political blacklist in Myanmar (Burma) at the age of eight for working and visiting political prisoners!
