Mr. Wentworth (he/him) has been the The Survey’s faculty adviser since 2017, and is extremely proud to oversee the paper's inaugural year as an elective class.  He studied History and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin at Madison as an undergraduate, and joined Teach for America in Los Angeles, CA before making a leap into the world of media.  Raised by a family of reporters and editors for The Washington Post, Mr. Wentworth has a lifelong passion for journalism that lead him to pursue a 20 year career in print, television, and documentary film.  He ended his illustrious career with a brief stint writing and producing a comedy series in Los Angeles, then made a mid-career transition to teaching in hopes of getting off the road and spending more time with his growing family.  He lives in Brooklyn in a shrinking apartment he shares with his wife, three children, and a (mostly) loyal rescue dog.
