Josephine Murphy, Hard News Editor
Josephine Murphy (she/her) is a co-editor for Hard News. Josephine joined The Survey because she wanted more experience in journalistic writing, and over time, she has grown incredibly passionate about the newspaper. As an avid reader, Josephine can always be found scrolling through The New York Times and perusing the works of her favorite authors: Jane Austen and George Orwell. Some of her favorite books include Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and Nineteen Eighty-Four. In college, Josephine hopes to major in Political Science, and through her involvement with Brooklyn Tech’s Student Government, she is gaining valuable experience in the field.
