Toka Hussein, Staff Writer
Toka Hussein (she/her) is a Staff Writer. Toka joined The Survey in her sophomore year to improve her reporting skills and be in a community where she can discuss and work with other writers. Like so many others, Toka is a reader of The New York Times and particularly enjoys playing their weekly word games. Toka has an interest in international law as well as social justice, and believes that writing is a great way to get ideas across in politics. In her free time, Toka enjoys hanging out with her friends and reading classic novels. Although she has many favorite books, her top ones include The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and Again Again by E. Lockhart.
