Tess Goldfarb, Staff Writer
Tess Goldfarb (she/her) joined The Survey because she’s a big humanities person, and she hopes it will allow her to express herself through writing in such a STEM focused school. Outside of The Survey, Tess loves to paint and embark on different creative hobbies. She is enrolled in a four year film course, in which this year will focus on narrative and documentary film. She aspires to be either a film director, a museum curator, or an educator. Tess loves movies and theater, and her favorite play is Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. She reads a variety of news sources, but she especially appreciates Tangle News because it synthesizes multiple perspectives on polarized topics, helping her to understand the different views on current events. For her first year as a staff writer, Tess is hoping to write articles that inform, provoke, and challenge. She is excited to join the world of journalism and grow as a writer.
