Samiha Haque (she/her) is a Staff Writer. Samiha is on The Survey because she has always enjoyed writing in her free time, and wishes to use her passion to inform others of social and educational issues around them. Through journalism, she hopes to understand different perspectives within her community so she could educate others on them as well. Samiha reads The New York Times. Samiha wants to pursue a career in either psychology or law. Samiha enjoys baking, journaling, painting, or exploring the city with her friends in her free time. Samiha doesn’t have a favorite book, but her most enjoyable read from this summer was The Stranger by Albert Camus.
