Lauren Wong, Editor in Chief
Lauren Wong (she/her) is excited to serve as an Editor-in-Chief for The Survey this year. Prior to joining The Survey as a freshman, she had never participated in any form of journalism or news publication. Since then, she has worked to uplift voices and uncover overlooked stories within the Tech community. She believes that now, more than ever, journalism is important, and she hopes to continue providing reliable, accessible, and unbiased news to the Tech community. Lauren’s favorite news sources include The New York Times (a subscription made available for Tech students!) and AP News. She also enjoys reading articles from fellow high school publications across New York City. With the 2025-2026 school year being Lauren’s fourth and final year on The Survey, she is determined to make it an exciting year for both readers and fellow writers.
