Faiza Chowdhury, Arts & Entertainment Editor
Faiza Chowdhury (she/her) is a co-editor for Arts & Entertainment. As someone who best expresses herself through writing, Faiza believes journalism provides individuals with a powerful platform to amplify voice and opinion. In addition to writing critical reviews of movies and books, Faiza also has a writing blog and has founded the Film Society club at Tech where she discusses media-related issues: such as the westernization of Bollywood. Faiza absorbs her news from a variety of sources, such as The New York Times, The Guardian, Vice, Vox, Buzzfeed, and The Wall Street Journal. Her favorite authors include Khaled Hosseini, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Oscar Wilde, and Paul Coelho. In addition to her passion for reading, writing, and film, Faiza works for the New York Botanical Garden and wants to explore the intersection between Biology and English through simultaneous careers in pediatrics and novel-writing in her future. Faiza is excited to share her passion for Arts & Entertainment with her peers this year and is eager to publish impactful articles about the field.
