Ellie Bar-Lev (she/her) is a Staff Writer. Ellie is on The Survey because she loved reading it as a freshman, and is excited to meet other humanities-interested students. She loves journalism because she knows how great and informative it can be when used for good! Ellie Bar-Lev likes to read The New York Times, especially the opinion pieces, because she loves to hear the amazing stories. She also likes subscribing to various opinion substacks. Ellie hopes to go into public policy and advocacy. She loves debating, finding solutions, and especially writing about the issues in our society, all of which she hopes to do in the future! Her favorite book is Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut.
