Cyrus Ginsberg (he/him) is part of The Survey because he appreciates being specific, accurate, and honest about the world, and sees journalism as a way to do that. Also, his grandma is a journalist, and she’s pretty cool. His favorite news publications are The Intercept, The Ringer and Cambridge Day. Outside of The Survey, Cyrus loves to be outside, whether that be hiking, gardening, ultimate frisbee, basketball, or just walking and breathing. He also loves to eat all kinds of food, spend time with friends and family, and play guitar. This year, Cyrus is excited to publish stories and learn from The Survey community.
